Strategy of longwall preparation and of the possibility of support strengthening in the coal mines with the rock burst risk
Ptáček, Jiří ; Konečný, Petr ; Šňupárek, Richard ; Koníček, Petr
The contribution presents conclusions of the research project called Miners protection against rock burst in the gates and measures to avoid them after checking the rock burst danger, supported by Czech Mining Authority. The results of research on the reinforced break through support and research on the way and strategy of longwalls driving in the conditions of rock burst danger are described.
Visual monitoring at the locality Čistá, Jeroným Mine
Kukutsch, Radovan
The impuls for establishing the method of visual monitoring that extends the implementation of geomechanical monitoring, is the status of the rock mass and the reduced stability of some parts of the Jeroným Mine, in particular the chambers K3 and K4, where we register a large falls from roof. The reason was also using this method for pasportisation and registration of these phenomena.
Contribution to opening of technical monument Jeroným Mine, Čistá
Žůrek, P. ; Kořínek, R. ; Kukutsch, Radovan
Given the need to assess the current status of mining complexes in the Jeroným Mine area in terms of future use, must be addressed by connection of the two parts of this complex - abandoned mine workings (AMW), and old mine works (OMW). The main theme is the description of connection options, which monitor not only the logical sequence of reconstruction work, but take into account the gravity drainage of the mine and an unknown mining-geological situation.
Genesis of Underground Spaces Origin of Jeroným Mine using Preserved Maps and Sketches
Kaláb, Zdeněk ; Lednická, Markéta
Written mining documentation and maps burned down during fire in Čistá in 1772; therefore, this date is significant one for medieval Mine Jeroným. This mine was in damping and new documentation was not prepared. In this paper, it is presented probable time sequence of underground spaces origin for known parts of Abandoned Mine Workings.
Seismic Loading of Jeroným Mine during Swarm in Kraslice Region in 2008
Kaláb, Zdeněk ; Lednická, Markéta ; Knejzlík, Jaromír
Seismic loading of underground spaces of Jeroným Mine in 2008 was very low up to October 6, 2008. From this date, significant loading occurred because very intensive seismic swarm started in Kraslice region (about 25 km from mine). Induced vibrations did not evoke visible damages in underground spaces. In sum 451 earthquakes from Kraslice region were recorded in seismic station named JER1 within Oct. 6 – Dec. 10, 2008. The most intensive shock occurred in Oct. 14 (21:00); maximum value of component velocity reached 0.435 mm.s-1.
